As a group one school, NCS receives approximately 55% of its funding from the provincial government for operating expenses (based on the school's category one rating under the ISB's certification authority - this means NCS receives a 50% grant for each qualifying student based on per pupil costs in the local school district) . The rest of the school's expenditures, including capital expenses, are met by revenues from tuition payments (tax deductible to parents), grants, donations, fund-raisers and building rentals.
NCS relies on God's good grace, responsible leadership, dedicated and committed teachers, supporters within the community, and parents who take the primary responsibility for their child's education. The Lord has given NCS many blessings since it was re-organized in 1988.
Applications are currently being taken for the 2010/2011 school year.
